New Capital of Tamilnadu .....TIRUCHIRAPALLI

I was working as An Officer of govt of India.
i was in Doordarshan Cennai.
the year was 1977...
Dr MGR came to our studios to deliver his political address  ...
Those days Television Chennai was the only place with govt tv station where i was working as an Auditor.

Dr MGR hada Plan to shift Capital Chennai to Tiruchirappalli...
so he has openly expressed in all his public meetings since tiruchi is perennial water supply place and a central point to all cities of Tamilnadu.

But Mr Karunanidhis DMK objected and raised a big false alarm and opposed tis brilliant idea.

Now you see every state is virtually searching for pwoer and water facilities.

so Chennai must be restricted by expanding other cities like SIVAKASI and Salam etc

Changinga Capital isa mega task...
now e are witnessing in AP.
Had This idea of Dr MGrs was executed in 1980s we could have saveda lot of money....

Tamilnadu is famous for rich heritage places . we have several towns and temples in Tamilnadu.
we have wonderful green Nilgris and panoramic view of tea estates and waterfalls.

we have an exclusive KUTTRALAM waterfalls 
we have huge industries
we have magnificent monuments.
we have
Kanchipuram...a place of 1000 temples
vellore ...a smart city of excellent port city of those days...

salem ..a similar city of USA 
Indias Salem is here in Tamilnadu...
we get best mangos 
Tiruchi isa famous temple town along with SRIRANGAM>>>
Maduarai 
Sivakasi
Tirupour
Coiambatore
Tirunelveli
TUTICORIN etc
 many places to be developed as smart cities.
we request Tamilnadu govt to invite public participation for the best smart cities....
